With a desire to serve God first and foremost, Marie discerned a calling to the religious life when she was 12 years old in the foothills of Medjujorge, in the county of her family's homeland.

With a desire to be of service to her fellow man, she was called to complete her studies at the University of Portland in nonprofit executive management. She has gone on to found/form many corporations, including a successful real estate firm in three states; been a survivor of trauma/abuse, including founding 4 non-profits (currently her 5th!) and preparing to leave it all behind for the quiet confines of prayer.
